Michigan CPL & CCW Refresher Course
This 3 hour class at Uncoiled Firearms & Range will cover instruction on all book topics required by the state of Michigan in order to renew your CPL, including firearms safety, laws surrounding use of force and carrying a concealed firearm, safe storage, and more. This class is designed for those who are looking to brush up on the requirements to renew your Michigan CPL.
Range time is not included in this class. You are required to have completed at least 1 hour of range time in the 6 months preceding your renewal application.
CPL Refresher classes are held once a month, every month. Alternatively, you can fulfill all requirements to renew your Michigan CPL and CCW permit by attending one of our 8-hour Michigan CPL classes.

Who should take the CPL refresher class?
You should take this class if you currently hold a Michigan CPL and are planning to renew your license. You can renew when you have 6 months until your expiration date or up to 1 year after the expiration date of your concealed pistol license.
This class will ensure you meet the requirements to renew your Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL). Michigan law requires that CPL holders certify that they’ve completed at least 3 hours reviewing the required CPL training and 1 hour of firing range time in the 6 months preceding the renewal application. This refresher course fulfills the CPL training requirement and you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of class.
How much does the CCW renewal class cost?
Our CPL refresher course is $50, or $40 for Uncoiled Firearms & Range members. You can sign up for a membership online, and you can also sign up and pay for this class online.
Are there any other classes that fulfill the CPL renewal requirements?
Yes, any of our other CPL classes will also fulfill the requirements, for both review of training and the range requirement. Our standard, one day CPL class and our two-night CPL class both will cover the training requirement AND the range time requirement, but are more expensive than this class ($75).
